This information was produced jointly between Immunodeficiency UK, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Great North Children’s Hospital. It is designed to help answer the questions that people may have about the genetic aspects of PID. It provides information on what are genes, the different types of inheritance patterns and methods of genetic diagnosis, including prenatal diagnosis.
