Advocacy is about influencing people, policies, practices, structures and systems in order to bring about change.

As part of our role, Immunodeficiency UK will act as a patient advocate to help improve healthcare systems and policies for those affected an immunodeficiency. We will do this by supporting and developing position statements on patient care, responding to consultations, forming alliances with other key organisations and acting as a patient representative on relevant committees, thus helping the voice of those affected to be heard.
