We’re pleased to invite you to an upcoming online workshop focused on “Managing Uncertainty” when living with a rare condition like primary immunodeficiency.
One of the most challenging aspects can be the uncertainties involved – whether it’s about when ill health will strike, if treatments will be available or effective, the future impact of having a condition, or simply not knowing if it will be a “good” or “bad” day health-wise. Please note this webinar will not offer specific medical advice.

This relaxed, small group workshop on Tuesday, May 21 from 7-9pm provides a supportive space to:

  • Talk with others who understand the uncertainties of life with a rare disease
  • Get tips and advice to make uncertainty more manageable
  • Share your own experiences if you wish

The workshop will be facilitated by Kym from Rareminds, a charity providing psychotherapy and emotional support resources for the rare disease community. Kym is a psychotherapist with nearly 30 years of experience, including supporting those impacted by rare genetic conditions.

If you’d like more information beforehand, you can contact Kym at kym@rareminds.org.

Spaces are limited, so please RSVP by emailing us at hello@immunodeficiencyuk.org to reserve your spot.

We look forward to you joining this supportive discussion on an issue that impacts so many in our community.
