Are payments taken before tax?

Yes. For example, if you were to give £12 every month, only £9.60 would come out of your salary –  but we'd receive £12. Or if you were in the higher rate tax bracket(40%) then only £7.20 would be taken from your salary.

Payment stops when you leave your job, but you can set it up in your new role by contacting their payroll department.

Yes, just get in touch with your employers payroll department to stop further payments.

How can I donate through my pay?

If you get paid via Pay as you earn (PAYE) you can donate via payroll giving. If your employer already has a payroll giving scheme, speak to them about setting up a monthly donation. If your employer doesn’t support payroll giving, speak to them about setting up a scheme with one of these approved payroll giving
