Give as you earn

Payroll giving is an easy way to donate as it is taken straight from your salary. The setup is simple and your donations are taken from your pay before tax.

The process is super simple and you don’t need to provide bank details or set up direct debits. By signing up for payroll giving we receive the tax you would have paid and we don’t need to claim back gift aid.

If your employer already has a payroll giving scheme, speak to them about setting up a monthly donation.

If your employer doesn’t support payroll giving, speak to them about setting up a scheme with one of these approved payroll giving organisations.

Are payments taken before tax?2023-02-07T16:02:41+00:00

Yes. For example, if you were to give £12 every month, only £9.60 would come out of your salary –  but we’d receive £12. Or if you were in the higher rate tax bracket(40%) then only £7.20 would be taken from your salary.

What happens if I leave my job?2023-02-07T16:00:30+00:00

Payment stops when you leave your job, but you can set it up in your new role by contacting their payroll department.

Yes, just get in touch with your employers payroll department to stop further payments.

There’s no minimum or maximum amount, but we suggest donating at least £5 per month.
